And don't get me wrong, it is awesome in how great detail you explain how to make a patch, maybe I was too inattentive and then this is a spam/sh*t post. So that is what compelled me tho writing this as nowhere did it mention making a patch for a patch. Also, wolf shield is part of immersive armors and Ecotone Backsield models do include a patch for them. While reading mod info it looked to me that simple patch in nifscope would be enough, that seemed to prove true as it worked for blades shield and spellbreaker. But for some reason, Wolf Shield does display (before making a patch, blades shield just vanished as it should), but in hand instead of the PC back. Now, I installed Ecotone Backshield models for immersive armors and made a OnBack.nif variety for blades shield so it would show up properly.

I play with immersive armors and aMidianborn pack and his remesh of wolf armor and shield (the last one is not ported but works regardless), also have installed remesh for Spellbreaker. A weird and annoying issue though not gamebreaking. Unfortunately this is a troubleshooting post. The first script creates left-hand meshes and scabbards, then the second one enumerates them (gives them discrete FormIDs) for EDS as dual-wieldable- by anyone. All you have to do is carefully follow the instructions in the sticky above. The entire mod is Weapon-centric, not NPC-centric, or even NPC-aware. If there is no left-hand mesh for the weapon, it skips that weapon, making it impossible for anybody to dual-wield it. If so, it creates an Armor Addon (ARMA) and Armor Item (ARMO) for the left-hand mesh (and scabbard, if any), enabling EDS to perform its Dual Wielding magic for those weapons- no matter who wields it. For each weapon (and sheath, if any) it finds in a plugin, it checks to see if there is a left-hand mesh for that weapon. The EDS Patcher goes through every plugin looking for weapons and sheaths, not NPCs. The mod doesn't care who the wielder is- player, vanilla NPC, mod-added NPC, it doesn't care, and in fact is not "aware" that they exist.
